AI Futures are engaged on a search to find a Senior AI Engineer for Germany’s most exciting BioTech company.

Headquartered in Munich, this is a global biotech company who are delivering exceptional results, have a strong balance sheet and are growing their presence in Germany. This is one of the few companies of their size in Germany who are seriously investing into transformational AI and already have a significant AI maturity, with successful and impactful use cases.

This is the perfect opportunity for a Senior AI Engineer to join a best-in-class Data & AI department where you will have the opportunity to deliver game changing projects.

The Role

• Create and deploy LLM applications for varied use cases
• Develop infrastructure to integrate LLMs into existing systems within the business
• Interface with the business to identify opportunities to implement AI products and improve business performance
• Be part of a state of the art data & AI department that are revolutionising the biotech industry

The Candidate

• 3+ years experience developing AI solutions in production
• Solid engineering fundamentals with Python & SQL
• Hands on cloud experience and tools for AI deployment
• Experience of data engineering (eg. ETL pipelines) highly advantageous
• Familiarity with MLOps tools
• Experience with NLP or prompt engineering (tokenization, embedding, transformers etc)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Experience in biotech / pharmaceuticals advantageous

This role requires candidates to be present in the office 1-2 days per week in central Munich.
