Information about the position

We seek a self-driven Technical Program Manager to join the Engineering function. In this role, you will focus on initiating and driving programs to ensure that we deliver exceptional service to our customers. If you can prioritise and analyse trade-offs, effectively influence across organisational boundaries, and simply understand software design and delivery well - let’s talk!

In this position, you’ll

• Manage the lifecycle of large and complex engineering programs, such as modularising a monolith
• Influence technical priorities and business strategy at company level
• Help teams/domains with best program management practice
• Be accountable for Vinted-wide-reaching engineering initiatives, by:
• working to keep the scope of engineering efforts under control
• accelerating progress by driving timely, data-driven decisions
• improving processes and metrics required to increase efficiency
• representing team’s/program’s technology to stakeholders
• working with and influence leadership up to the executive level
• owning program status communication to a wide range of audience
• Influence technical priorities and business strategy at company level
• Help teams/domains with best program management practices
  

About You

(T)PM portfolio/experience:

• Led at least 4 different multi-quarter software engineering projects/programmes
• 4+ years of working in program or project management
  
  

Engineer at core:

• Degree in a field of software engineering
• 2+ years of direct software development experience (optional, yet amazing!)
• Having business analyst knowledge will be massive enabler
  
  

The rest:

• Communicate effectively, in all forms and directions
• Track record in coordinating dependencies in multi-track, multi-functional projects
• Being able to write a strong written narrative
