My clients CE Sustainability and Energy team is expanding and looking for a Project Manager with expertise in solar energy. This role is focused on ESG reporting, carbon management, certification, low-carbon solutions, sustainable equipment, and physical climate risk, particularly in construction and reporting.

About the Team Structure & Growth

-The team is split into two main areas:

-Sustainability & Construction – Focuses on ESG reporting, certifications, and sustainable infrastructure.

-Renewable Energy & Commercial Solutions – Covers renewable energy production, energy storage, EV infrastructure, power management, EMS, data management, and market innovation.

-Currently, the team has Project Managers specializing in different energy solutions:

Location Requirement: Preference for Düsseldorf-based candidates to be part of the global energy team.

Key Responsibilities

-Project Planning & Feasibility – Assessing technical and financial viability.

-Project Execution & Oversight – Managing development through deployment.

-Stakeholder Management – Engaging with internal and external partners.

-Technical Expertise – Ensuring compliance and optimization.

-Reporting & Documentation – Tracking progress and financial performance.

Candidate Profile

-Experience: Minimum 5 years in solar PV project management, but 3 years is acceptable if the experience is with a large industrial installer (not residential).

Languages: Fluent German is required (due to most projects being in Germany); strong English for internal communication.
