As a Senior Scala Developer, you will play a key role in developing high-performance, scalable, and low-latency systems that underpin critical trading and risk management platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, utilizsing Scala, Akka, Cassandra, SQL, and Azure to build real-time financial applications that handle vast amounts of data with speed and precision.

You will:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts helping to define the solution and ensuring technical requirements have been incorporated
• Work on a regulatory reporting application
• Aggregate large datasets
• Ensuring development aligns to agreed standards and is of a high quality
• Evaluating and adopting new techniques to advance the platform
• Day to day support of the platform to help diagnose and fix production issues

Skills/Experience:

• Scala (minimum 3 years)
• Software development experience (minimum 3 years)
• Experience implementing restful APIs and Microservices
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience working in Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban)
• Experience working on large projects in a fast-paced environment

Salary / Remuneration: €80,000 - €95,000 – 10k bonus, plus generous benefits package, strong work-life balance
