About Digital Solutions:
Digital Solutions is a highly strategic and crucial department for our product-focused company.
It was initiated with the aim of providing a modern and innovative suite of software & data solutions aligned with the Company portfolio strategy and with internal operational needs.
A lot goes through here: following the Gridspertise strategy and prioritization, Digital Solutions is in charge the entire design and execution of the Software solutions roadmap!
What you will do:
As Backend Developer in the Digital Solutions field, your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable applications using modern technologies;
• Designing and developing scalable and maintainable microservices in Rust and Golang;
• Work with product owners, designers, and other developers to meet goals;
• Implementing solutions following Composable Architecture principles to ensure modularity and reusability
• Debug and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality standards;
• Ensuring best practices in coding, Git usage, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

Who you are:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology.

• Good knowledge and skills in software design principle;
• Experience in microservices and back-end technologies based on Java and Spring Boot;
• Proficiency in one of the following coding language: Rust, GO, C/C++;
• Familiarity with both NoSQL and SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), with the ability to select the right database for each use case;
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and other integration architectures such as Event-Driven (e.g., Kafka), gRPC, and more;
• Knowledge in front-end technologies and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue;
• Experience in software testing methodologies and tools. Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using tools like JUnit, Selenium, Jest, or PyTest;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies;
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Following characteristics are considered a plus:

• Understanding of security best practices in SW/web development;
• Experience in Software companies in the Smart Grids space;
• Proficiency in other languages: Spanish;
