Description:

The Business Analyst Senior is responsible for gathering, validating, and structuring business requirements for IT analysis. This role involves collaboration across teams to ensure the alignment of business and IT objectives and contributing to the preparation of relevant documentation for project approval.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and structure business requirements into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) ready for IT analysis.
• Validate business requirements with stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Contribute to the preparation of business cases, project charters, and other documents to support project approval by IT.
• Analyze potential impacts on upstream and downstream applications in collaboration with other services to ensure end-to-end consistency.
• Coordinate and ensure proper implementation of business requirements with IT teams.
• Organize and prepare steering committees to provide project oversight.
• Prepare or review test cases, including non-regression testing, to ensure correct implementation of solutions and execute them.
• Work closely with the data governance team to assist in preparing Data Governance documentation for DWH universe updates.
• Contribute to the development of user documentation (e.g., user manuals, presentations).
• Organize and manage application training sessions as required.
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels and tools to facilitate user engagement and collaboration with other teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Mandatory Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years).
• Mandatory Experience:
• 7 years of experience in business requirements elicitation and modelling.
• Experience with at least 3 projects related to business requirements, testing, or project management.
• Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
• At least 1 year of experience in the banking industry.
• Knowledge of financial products (Loans, equity, guarantees).
• Proficiency in English (French is an advantage).
