What’s the deal?

This role technically doesn’t exist—yet. We’re creating it as we go. We’re looking for someone to become our LLM whisperer, mastering the art of prompt engineering and implementing quick, user-friendly AI tools in AIAIAI called Quick Actions. Your role will be a mix of research, customer success, and Python development, ensuring we bridge the gap between LLM limitations and their true potential.

AI—yes, it’s a buzzword filled with smoke and mirrors. That’s not us (or at least, we’re trying not to be). Because no matter how slowly actual adoption might be happening, we’re all being affected by AI in one way or another—teachers feeling the pressure to adapt, office employees expected to deliver more in less time. There’s a huge segment of people, especially once you drive a bit outside big cities, who aren’t “prompting” or tapping into AI to boost productivity. Their jobs—and the relevance of their employers—is at risk. That’s what we address at AIAIAI: helping everyday people use AI in a way that feels natural to them. We meet them where they are, instead of asking them to change. We’ve designed our product so that both employees and companies don’t end up saying “AI AI AI” three years from now because they were blindsided. It’s a product being used daily by users who’d typically fall into the late majority or even “laggards” on the adoption curve. And that’s the mission you’d help drive: making a fast-changing world a bit more manageable for people who just need it to work.

What can you expect from the role?

You’ll be creating “quick-actions” (specialized prompts) and “workers” (small AI-driven apps using frameworks like Streamlit) to solve real-world problems for customers. You’ll also be on the front lines, working closely with our Customer Success Manager to glean insights from user feedback en onboarding of new clients. One day you might be fine-tuning GPT prompts, the next you might be designing a mini-application that automates a customer’s data-entry process.

• Part Research: Experiment with the latest LLMs and learn their capabilities and shortcomings.
• Part Customer-Facing: Understand clients’ pain points and tailor solutions to their exact needs.
• All About Impact: Help people who barely understand AI become more productive, without expecting them to learn complicated new tools.

Responsibilities

1. Prompt Development & Optimization
2. Create and refine prompts that make GPT-like models deliver maximum value.
3. Quick-App Building
4. Use Python (and frameworks like Streamlit) to build user-friendly tools that solve real, everyday problems.
5. Customer Collaboration
6. Work alongside our Customer Success Manager to gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and ensure user satisfaction.
7. Frontier Experimentation
8. Stay on top of the latest LLM releases, test them, and propose how we can integrate new capabilities.
9. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
10. Keep clear records of what works and what doesn’t, so the whole team can learn.

Requirements

1. Passion for AI
2. You’re genuinely curious about LLMs, GPTs, and the evolving landscape of generative AI.
3. Python Skills
4. Comfortable scripting, prototyping, and automating tasks. Experience with Streamlit or similar frameworks is a plus.
5. Communication & Empathy
6. You’ll be customer-facing, so an ability to explain complex tech in simple terms is crucial.
7. Adaptability
8. We welcome candidates from 0-5+ years’ experience, as long as you’re keen to learn and experiment.
9. Collaborative Mindset
10. You enjoy working in cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge, and brainstorming solutions.
