The two core products offered by Blackshell are a Network Security Solution and a Threat Detection and Management Platform.

We are looking for a TechOps Specialist to join our team and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our technical infrastructure. This role is critical in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence and supporting the delivery of secure and efficient services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Ensure high availability and performance of all technical systems.

Cybersecurity Operations:

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and manage security protocols, tools, and practices.
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and breaches, and respond promptly to incidents.
• Assist in regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

Automation and Optimization:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
• Continuously improve system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to support ongoing projects and deployments.
• Act as a key technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for infrastructure and deployment-related issues.

Customer Deployments and Maintenance

• Deploy and configure dedicated solutions for customers, tailored to meet their specific requirements.
• Monitor and maintain the availability of customer systems, ensuring a consistent and reliable service.
• Provide timely technical support for customer deployments, resolving issues efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, tools, and processes.
• Prepare operational reports and metrics for leadership.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 2+ years in a TechOps, SysOps, or related role, preferably in a cybersecurity-focused environment.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems administration, including shell scripting and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure deployment and management.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies, particularly Docker, including building, deploying, and troubleshooting containers in production environments.
• Experience working with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMs).
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VPNs, DNS, routing).

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Security+).
