• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline,
• Preferred: Familiar with Platform as a Service (PaaS) workflows and operations,
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Product Owner or equivalent,
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and minimal supervision,
• Strong communication, presentation and management skills,
• Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization, including top management,
• High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Quick learner; able to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing and demanding environment,
• Ability to manage own time, workload and conflicting priorities,
• A strong team player, who supports the team and puts team and business objectives first,
• Solution oriented,
• Understanding of the Agile software development methodologies,
• Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) certification.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position, you will identify, define, order, and refine the requirements and communicate that information to the team. During the development lifecycle, you will need to clarify those requirements and work to bring user stories to acceptance. The Product Owner will work directly with various deparmants including the development team to ensure successful translation of those requirements into high-quality services and products.

To succeed in this position, you need to;

• Act as an ambassador for own Product area, internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the products,
• Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting and validating business requirements and recommending solutions in support of business needs and overall IT strategies,
• Balance and successfully negotiate competing interests between clients, new development, technical debt, and the needs of all other departments,
• Define and own the product functionalities and convert them into a Product Roadmap for own area and technical specifications,
• Prioritize and sequence the Backlog according to business value or ROI,
• Ensure that maximum business value is delivered as early as possible,
• Write user stories and define acceptance criteria if needed,
• Proactively communicate progress, decisions, impediments, and risks ,
• Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and sustainability,
• Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, and provide feedback to the team.
