Introduction

Brunel is seeking a Project Manager to support the execution and coordination of nuclear safety analysis projects. In this role, you will assist in overseeing the delivery of projects related to Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSA) and Deterministic Safety Assessments (DSA) within the nuclear sector. You will be involved in managing project timelines, resources, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to the successful management and delivery of critical projects in a dynamic and high-stakes environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing nuclear safety analysis projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Support project teams in coordinating tasks and resolving issues to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track and report project progress, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of safety analysis reports related to PSA and DSA.
  • Help identify potential project risks and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of project management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have nuclear security clearance.
  • Must have experience in nuclear project coordination or a similar role within the nuclear sector.
  • PMP certification (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and contributing to project success.
  • Strong background in nuclear industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices (preferred).
