Senior AI Research Engineer (LLM)

This position is responsible for Rapid development and deployment of Language and Multimodal Large Models to support advanced manufacturing of Electrical Vehicles, primarily on document reading and code understanding.

• Research and introduce state-of-art A.I Solutions, in particular for LLMs and Vision-Language Models. 
• Conduct empirical evaluations on data and A.I models, interpret findings and evaluate model performance for scaling and deployment.
• Work with data engineers to extract and integrate data from various sources for model training.
• Work with Software engineers to support deployment of the solutions.

• A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Linguistics, NLP, Vision or a related field. 
• Minimum 2 years of working experience on ML or Data Science projects (not including University projects)
• Hands on experience in any of the following: Text analytics, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Multimodal Understanding, Code understanding.
• Demonstrate some theoretical understanding of Machine Learning and Statistics.
• Demonstrate understanding of LLMs beyond using it as a blackbox API call.
• Demonstrate experience in a range of techniques for fine-tuning Models and distributed training. 
• Experience in deep learning frameworks including PyTorch, Tensorflow.
• Proficiency in at least 1, and knowledge of 1 of the following: Python, C++, C#, Javascript.
