Middle Golang Software Engineer

Our client is a US-based security and networking company that helps people connect securely and confidently on any device, to any application, anywhere, anytime. We leverage the industry-leading solution with the client to help IT and security professionals manage dynamic and scalable endpoint security agents through a unified view.

Together, we are developing a service responsible for routing traffic to appropriate backend services, ensuring the traffic remains encrypted. It inspects incoming requests to determine the correct backend and distributes the traffic efficiently, without decrypting the data.

IF YOU ARE

• A motivated software engineer with cloud operations experience
• Proficient in Go programming
• A practitioner of testing, and writing test plans
• Familiar with Kubernetes services architecture, design, and implementation
• Adept at DevOps practices using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools
• Ready to share ideas around improving CI/CD pipelines
• Aware of security and networking domains, their systems and distributed computing
• Proficient in Linux and other operating systems
• Skilled in business communication with clients in English (written and verbal)
• Skilled in building Python automation end-to-end tests (as an advantage)
• Familiar with routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and RIP for highly scalable systems (as a bonus)
• Knowledgeable of networking protocols (as a plus)
