DevOps/SRE Engineer

N-iX is looking for a skilled DevOps/SRE Engineer.

Our Client is the world's largest independent company for the development, simulation and testing of all types of powertrain systems (hybrid, combustion engine, transmission, electric drive, batteries, fuel cell and control technology), their integration into the vehicle and is increasingly taking on new tasks in the field of assisted and autonomous driving as well as data intelligence.

Our Client`s product is out on the market and it’s purpose is data processing/analytics/AI to provide customer actionable insights into their data.

Responsibilities:

Provision and monitor (keep alive) of customer tenants on our client infrastructure (cloud (AWS/Azure), on-prem) and partially on customer infrastructure (cloud, on-prem):

• setting up a new instance/tenant
• update version of running tenants
• monitor for uptime/problems/resource constraints and react to mitigate the problem
• perform/setup backup procedure
• perform disaster recovery in event of critical failure
• cost monitoring (is it within planned budget, prevent surprises)
• basic tenant operation: setting up projects, user management
  
  

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE
• Docker, Helm
• Kubernetes
• ClickHouse
• MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Kafka
• Prefect
• .NET APIs, Python analytics/processing,
• Azure OR AWS (or both), Rancher
• Grafana, OTEL, Prometheus
