Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps / SysAdmin)

We're looking for an infrastructure engineer with proven experience in Linux system administration and DevOps tooling and technologies, to join our backend / infra team.

This is a role that requires both design-level thinking and ability to execute and implement, while working independently.

About you:

You're a cloud-native engineer with previous experience in Linux containerization, and you're comfortable with the standard cloud stack.

You have worked with at least some of the following:

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Argocd
• Keda
• Terraform
• Prometheus
• Loki
• Filebeat
• Azure DevOps pipelines
• GitHub actions
• Cloud networking (VNets, peering, firewalling, VPN)
• Service mesh (Istio and similar)

You're also experienced or have done at least some of:

• Ubuntu / Debian / CentOS administration
• Set up nginx web servers and caching instances
• Configure HAProxy
• Deploy virtualized machines in bare metal instances
• Low-level monitoring of hardware and handling of hardware-related issues (datacenter remote hands, etc)

You have strong scripting skills in both Bash and Python.

While not a requirement, it will be considered a huge plus if you have prior experience in any of the following:

• Deployment and maintenance of blockchain RPC nodes
• Design and management of large-scale data warehouses / big-data analytics (Azure Data Lakes, Snowflake, etc)
• Event streaming (Kafka)

Like with most infrastructure positions, this comes with a reasonably high expectation of time availability. We don't expect you to generally work more than a normal day's workload (8 hours, M-F), but we expect you to be around in case of questions or emergencies for a larger percentage of time.
