About The Opportunity

We're working with an AI-driven startup revolutionising video creation-turning cameras into code and making high-quality video production accessible to everyone. As a Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work on cutting-edge AI-powered products, tackling complex engineering challenges at scale. From building a hyper-personalised onboarding experience to developing a proprietary video delivery platform, this role offers the chance to shape the future of media.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain a sophisticated full-stack platform, working with React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
• Take ownership of high-impact projects, delivering features end-to-end and ensuring seamless, scalable releases.
• Work directly with product managers, shaping the direction of the product and aligning engineering efforts with business goals.
• Leverage data and analytics to measure feature impact, iterate, and optimise for commercial success.
• Plan for the future-developing engineering capabilities that anticipate challenges 6-12 months ahead.
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Experience in high-performance engineering teams, either in a scale-up or an established tech company.
• Ability to work across the stack, from building complex UI interactions to optimising backend performance.
• Deep expertise in at least one area of the stack, whether frontend, backend, or infrastructure.
• Background in SaaS, AI-powered applications, video delivery, billing systems, or real-time collaboration is a plus.
• A strong product mindset-focused on commercial success and delivering customer impact.
• Previous leadership experience is a bonus.
