Duration: 12 months+ extensions

Job Description

• As a DEVOPS Engineer within the MAGDA Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for the development of a modern cloud platform according to the principles of DevOps and Platform Engineering and you will support the move from an existing private cloud environment to a public cloud offering based on Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrable experience in development of the based applications
• Demonstrable experience in executing programming assignments very smoothly: coding, testing and debugging.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

Specific Skills

• Proven experience in automating CI/CD processes (Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines or Github Actions), Must have
• Demonstrated experience managing a container orchestration system (OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or AWS Elastic Kubernetes (EKS) Service), Must have
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure via Infrastructure-As-Code (Terraform or Bicep or Pulumi), Must have
• Proven experience in Agile & DEVOPS culture, Medior (3,00 years), Should have
• Proven experience in managing a Microsoft Azure environment, Medior (3,00 years), Should have
• Proven experience in automating CI/CD processes (Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines or Github Actions), Medior (3,00 years), Nice to have
• Proven experience in Linux system administration, Nice to have
• Proven experience with Hashicorp Vault, Nice to have
• Proven experience automating DevOps tasks in golang, Junior (1,00 years), Nice to have
• Demonstrated experience managing a container orchestration system (OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or AWS Elastic Kubernetes (EKS) Service), Medior (3,00 years), Nice to have
