Senior Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Project Controls Director in Wavre, Belgium. This role requires English and French Fluency. You will be responsible for running and managing Project Controls for Global Capital Projects ranging from £100-300M in annual spend. You will be responsible for Cost Management, Schedule Management, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Portfolio Reporting of project status to key stakeholders. You will lead and oversee multiple project controls teams, including cost managers, estimators, and schedulers, and ensure consistency in processes and practices. You will develop and maintain project schedules, ensure milestones are met on time and on budget, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, strategically plan the design and implementation of projects, and ensure all project activities comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards through regular audits and reviews. Must have a strong understanding of financial rules related to Global Capital Projects and how to build a cash flow curve to ensure accurate forecasting and financial management. This role requires extensive stakeholder engagement – candidate must has excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence to effectively and proactively communicate with the business stakeholders. Candidate must be from a Pharmaceutical background. This role has an element of light travel between sites in Belgium (Wavre and Rixensart), roughly 20-minutes from each other, so you will be required to have a car and valid driver's license.

MUST HAVES:

· English and French Fluency

· Extensive experience as a Lead Project Controls Director for Global Capital Projects (£100M+)

· Strong Financial Management experience (ROI, Cost, Actuals, Forecasts, Budgets, Schedules, Cashflow Curve, etc.) (Building cashflow curve)

· Expert knowledge and experience of Cost Management, Commercial Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Scope Management, Risk Management, Change Management and Forecasting.

· Foundational understanding of key project management delivery processes

· Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry

· Strong stakeholder management including the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate

· Car and Driver's License to commute between sites

· High attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet and exceed business requirements
