About The Accelerator

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to join our MS Common Capabilities Service Unit within DNV Cyber. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and securing our enterprise architecture, ensuring robust security practices, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Security Architecture: Design and implement secure architectural solutions within MS, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and lead mitigation efforts to enhance security resilience.
  • Project Leadership: Drive internal projects to develop common capabilities, taking on both leadership and team member roles as needed.
  • Technical Advisory & Governance: Provide expert guidance on security tools, technologies, and best practices to support internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with business development teams to offer technical insights and cybersecurity expertise in client engagements.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend security frameworks, solutions, and tools to strengthen our cybersecurity landscape

About You

  • Extensive expertise in cybersecurity, with a broad understanding of security principles, frameworks, and emerging threats.
  • Hands-on experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and other relevant compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including network security, identity management, cloud security, and encryption techniques.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, ensuring proactive and effective risk management.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to lead and contribute to security initiatives and cross-functional projects.
