Your mission

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using Node.js.
• Build scalable, high-performance APIs and backend systems to support complex business logic.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end features.
• Take part in architectural decision-making and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of backend systems through proactive monitoring, testing, and optimizations.

Your profile

• Strong experience in backend development with Node.js, including frameworks like Express.js.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
• Deep knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis).
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, server-side architecture, and performance optimizations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of security best practices and experience with authentication/authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A self-starter who thrives both independently and in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with GraphQL and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in building distributed, scalable systems in production environments.
• Proficient in test-driven development and familiar with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
