Junior Platform Engineer

My name is Artūras Memliukas, Monitoring and IT Supporting Tools Team Manager @ ITSM Department, Telia. We are a great bunch of Platform engineers who are responsible for IT Service Management Platforms like IT monitoring (Zabbix), Privilege access management (CyberArk), Configuration management and discovery (BMC CMDB, BMC Discovery) other IT Security, logging, and reporting tooling.

Right now, we are looking for Junior Platform Engineer to join a team that provides the best IT infrastructure tooling services and develops future solutions. The workplace can be in Vilnius, Šiauliai, or Kaunas.

Who We're Looking For

You are an independent and trustworthy team player with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, automation knowledge, and strong ownership qualities. Building solutions for customers is part of your daily routine, and you thrive on challenges, setting an example of effective IT management in a complex and extensive infrastructure. Best practices come naturally to you, and if you have a solution-driven, analytical mindset with a passion for technology and hands-on experience with market-leading solutions, this is the place for you!

You have a strong grasp of ITIL and IT infrastructure, including Unix/Windows systems, databases, networks, and virtualization. Scripting is in your skillset—ideally in Python, but PowerShell or Bash works too. Familiarity with Privileged Access Management solutions such as CyberArk, Delinea, or One Identity is a significant advantage. Experience with IT monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, or Prometheus is a plus. Fluency in both Lithuanian and English, both spoken and written, is essential.

Monthly salary range for this position: 1950 – 2900 Eur gross plus annual bonuses which are depending on your competencies and your and Telia results.
