Business Analyst

For a client based in Luxembourg I am seeking a Business Analyst to join the team on a long term contract assignment. Candidates should have solid Business Analyst experience combined with some commercial experience in the Banking / Finance sector

Tasks and Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

● Collect the business requirements and structure them into Business Requirements Documents

● Validate business requirements with the different stakeholders

● Contribute to the preparation of relevant documents in line with the Project Management Methodology approach (BusinessCase, Project Charter…) to get the project approved by IT

● Liaise with other services of the Bank to analyse potentials impacts on Upstream and Downstream applications and ensure end-to-end consistency.

● Coordinate and ensure good implementation of requirements in collaboration with IT

● Organize and prepare steering committees of relevant projects

● Prepare and/or review test cases (including non-regression) to validate the good implementation of the solution and execute them

● Work in close relationship with the data governance team to provide input to prepare Data Governance documentation to update the DWH universes

● Contribute to the preparation of the user documentation (user manual, presentation…)

● Organise and manage application training sessions when required

● Contribute to the development and the maintenance of an appropriate communication channels/tools, designed to foster effective exchange with the user community and fluent working relationships with other entities.

Mandatory Qualifications

•Master degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science In the absence of a Bachelor/Master degree in the relevant field, candidates with demonstrable professional experience of at least 7 years can be considered

•7 years of experience in the field of business requirement (elicitation & modelling)

•Experience on at least 3 projects in the field of business requirement, testing or project management.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

•Minimum 1 year of experience in the Banking industry.

•Knowledge of English. French would be considered as an advantage.

•Knowledge of the financial products of the Bank (Loans, equity, guarantee)
