The Financial Markets Grid is the financial heart of the Bank. Global Markets provides access to the financial markets with a wide range of services and solutions for risk management, capital market products, investment products and financing products. Murex is the core platform of Financial Markets, 80% of the transactions (FX/interest/bonds) go through this system. It's a SAAS application with a big configuration layer where the bank can do a lot for different processes like Finance, Risk and Front office.

Team Murex is a big team in Financial Markets. It has 3 technical and 5 functional sub teams. As the name suggests they operate the Murex application (it is an external service) for receiving, modifying and providing financial markets data.

The organization is looking for someone that is going to take a role in the technical teams. Those teams are working with Azure for both infrastructure and application level. Some experience in terms of Azure/YAML pipelines is preferred. They are also working with Ansible and Terraform. Their data is stored in Oracle Databases. And for this Oracle DB knowledge is not needed specifically but SQL is needed. Murex is written in Java, but they are not changing the application itself, they are using Murex. So, they use unix for scripts and Murex User Interface

You will start in a critical Azure engineering team of the bank and will receive intensive coaching and hands-on training in cloud technology such as Terraform, Dev/Ops pipelines, Ansible as well as Oracle Database technology. Safeguarding Internal knowledge buildup of the Murex Platform NL team's infrastructure.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Knowing at least one programming language, and having completed an IT project based on it
• Good at mathematical thinking and understanding instructions.
• Eagerness to learn IT technologies, not by watching but practicing.
• Knowing basics about Cloud computing, Dev/Ops culture, Operating systems, Databases.
• Having confidence and honesty, he/she should not know everything but must know how to learn
• Good communication and cooperation skills
