Project Manager

Job Description:

In this project we would identify the top trending issues and co-ordinate and work closely with cross functional teams to resolve the issues.

Cross functional teams include : Engineering team ( R&D), Quality engineering , Supplier engineering and Manufacturing engineering

Scope of the Project:

1. Gaining agreements on and achieving project goals and objectives with Engineering, Supplier Quality and Manufacturing and Quality

Engineering

2. Balancing and managing the project scope (including requirements), schedule, quality, resources, and risks Monitoring during project

execution with an outcome.

3. Building partnerships with the stakeholders (both internal and external), leverage them to achieve organizational goals, and able to

influence their opinions and negotiate effective solutions.

4. Contextualizing organizational goals and shifts, recognizing opportunities, and turning those into business value Monitoring project

activities, appropriately and setting up detailed progress / escalation reports (including suggested corrective actions) to

the project steering team.

5. Initiates plans and executes projects in multi‐discipline areas in accordance with agreed conditions on specification & time. Manage internal

stakeholders and externals like subcontractors.

6. Responds to and anticipates stakeholder and customer needs in a timely, professional, helpful, and courteous manner.

Deliverables on Monthly basis

1. Report out on Status of program on identified projects (15 to 20 mini projects) on Bi-weekly basis.

2. Set up Daily Management boards with the respective project leads working on engineering issues (with design), supplier caused (Supplier

Engineering) & Supply chain (with logistics teams).

3. Tracking of actions on weekly basis and follow with the respective owners – Mini Projects leads (~ 20 mini projects)

4. Set up reviews with stake holders at regular cadence on progress check and bringing to the steering committee discussions and support

required.

5. Continuous Improvement & Learning and sharing with other projects within the Program

6. Network Performance – able to steer through the organization in identifying the right stake holders for resolving the quality issues related to

the program.

7. The goal of the program is to achieve 20% reduction in issues by Dec 2025. Accordingly, the agreed % reduction month on month needs to

be tracked and highlighted to steering committee any challenges on progress.
