Your role:

• As an integral member of the MR Design Team, you will actively contribute to create innovative and engaging experiences for our MR customers and Patients in line with our product portfolio and roadmap.
• You will be engaging with a multidisciplinary team of UX Designers, Usability Engineers, Product Managers, Engineers and Clinical Applications Specialists
• developing and visualizing design concepts that meet the user needs.
  
  

You're the right fit if:

• Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master studies in Product Design / Industrial Design, or any other relevant studies, master level preferred.
• You have a user centric mindset with focus on improving user experience.
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• You are able to use appropriate visual and verbal articulation in line with a given Design Language Systems and Brand Guidelines.
• You easily communicate your ideas through realistic visualizations of your design concepts.
• You are able to work within a scope and a given timeframe.
• You are a team player, contributing to effective team work and offering a point of view.
• Relevant experience e.g. previous internship, (extra-)curricular projects, etc.) related to product design, User experience Design, usability.
• Excellent knowledge in oral and written English

• Our intern remuneration package:
• Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
• Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
• Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net depending on the distance between your home address and the Philips location.
• Please note that to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of which may be requested at any time. Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience
