Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) with specialized knowledge in AI infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, particularly in managing environments that support Machine Lea

ing (ML) and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud infrastructures for our AI-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the head of infrastructure and head of AI to ensure close alignment with product roadmap priorities
• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure with a focus on AI applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage GPU instances and optimize them for ML and LLM workloads.
• Implement and maintain ML tooling, including but not limited to MLflow, for efficient model training and deployment.
• Develop and maintain auto-scaling infrastructure, with experience in tools like Kube etes and Carpenter.
• Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) for efficient cloud environment management, with proficiency in tools such as Terraform.
• Ensure secure and compliant cloud infrastructure aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to understand their needs and provide tailored infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AWS services and AI infrastructure technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing AWS infrastructure.
• At least 3 years of experience in AI infrastructure management, particularly with GPU instances.
• Proficiency in ML and LLM tooling such as MLflow.
• Experience with auto-scaling infrastructure and tools like Carpenter.
• Expertise in cloud automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools like Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kube etes.
• Expert with CI/CD/CT pipelines and related tools.
• Knowledge of data engineering and analytics platforms in AWS.
