Flow Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team in Stavanger. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient flow of hydrocarbons in subsea and pipeline systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design, analyse, and optimize flow assurance strategies that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct flow assurance studies using advanced simulation tools (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM).
• Analyse multiphase flow, hydrate formation, wax deposition, and slugging risks.
• Develop and optimize pipeline and subsea system designs to ensure flow efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers, process engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate flow assurance solutions into overall project plans.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise.
• Support the commissioning and operation phases with flow assurance expertise.
• Ensure all designs and operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in flow assurance, with at least 3 years in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in flow assurance software (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
