Java Software Engineer

Global Cyber Security company seeks a skilled Software Engineer with excellent Java skills and Selenium to work in a complex Testing area. 1 year Contract. Will work on cutting-edge development and execution of Automation Testing End-To- End solutions in a robust Java DevOps Docker/Kubernetes) environment. Must have excellent Java coding skills. $800 Daily. 1 year assignment. Mostly WFH. Must be based in Sydney.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of Java Engineering experience. Must have experience in a Java DevOps CI/CD environment. Any Automation Testing a plus.
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium Testing.
• Strong knowledge of the software development process.
• Experienced QA testing skills.
• Ability to develop and execute complex automated and performance testing.
• Java, Cypress, Postman, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
• Configure, maintain, and/or administer testing tools or environments.
• Interact with teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards.
• Ensure that testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders.
• Research and identify root causes of performance issues in partnership with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
