Lead MS SQL Developer (Slovenia, remote)

Your tasks on the position:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining MS SQL Server databases, schemas, and stored procedures
• Developing and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS or other tools
• Leading and mentoring a team of SQL developers, ensuring code quality and best practices
• Conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and technical guidance sessions
• Ensuring high availability, clustering, and replication strategies for critical databases
• Designing and developing complex reports using SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in in MS SQL Server development
• Experience leading a team of developers or playing a senior role in database projects
• Proficiency in database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and indexing strategies
• Experience in performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS/Power BI for reporting
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• English B2+
  
  

Will be a plus:

• Basic DBA skills like backup, recovery, monitoring, and availability
