Job Description

As a Senior Electronics Engineer (UAV), you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art weaponized drones, a key focus area for the company. Your main responsibilities will include schematic design and PCB development using Altium, ensuring the highest standards in electronics engineering. You will work closely with national and international partners to enhance drone control systems and improve resilience against electronic warfare tactics such as jamming. This role demands deep technical expertise, as the company strives to be among the best in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Schematic Design & PCB Development: Design, develop, and optimize electronic circuits and PCB layouts using Altium to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Drone Control Systems: Develop and enhance electronic control systems for UAVs, integrating them seamlessly with mechanical and software components.
• Jamming Resilience: Implement strategies to improve the resistance of drones against electronic countermeasures and interference.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation of electronic systems to ensure operational and safety compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to integrate electronic systems effectively into UAV designs.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in UAV technology and integrate best practices into the company’s development processes.

Your Profile

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus).
• Experience:
• Mandatory experience in schematic design and PCB development using Altium.
• Prior experience in electronic product development or engineering is strongly preferred.
• Hobbyist experience in drone design or building is a significant advantage!
• Programming: Familiarity with C for microprocessors is beneficial.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential; fluency in Dutch is a plus.
• Security Clearance: A mandatory Dutch background check (VOG) is required.
