DevOps/Platform Engineer - Svea Solar

Svea Solar is one of Sweden’s leading energy tech companies. Our mission is simple: to rid the planet of fossil fuels! To bring this mission to life, we are looking for a Senior DevOps/Plattform Engineer!

The role

As a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for setting up and managing our AWS platform with full ownership of the structure of our cloud infrastructure. You’ll be part of a small, agile development tech organization with three cross-functional teams and report directly to our Head of Engineering Danny Hajj.

The Role Includes

• Responsibility over our AWS plattform
• Working with CI/CD, testing, and automation
• Taking ownership and managing our Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Engage in close collaboration with our developers, actively participating in meetings to understand their needs and support their success.
• Support developers by educating them on the platform, driving learning, and developing platform services to enhance their workflow.

For you to succeed in the role, we believe you should:

• Have multiple years’ experience working with cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools.
• Have knowledge of the full software development life cycle and delivery using agile practices.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or other tools.
  
  

If you also have at least two of the following, we are sure we would be a good match:

• Experience in code development in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
• Experience with self-hosted Grafana observability stack
