About The Role

The Veracity Industry Cloud Platform helps our customers with the necessary digital tools and platform capabilities for cohesive data-driven solutions. Veracity has a strong presence in Norway, Poland, and China, providing high-quality digital expertise with efficiency. From ideation to creation, we help our customers to build and maintain their digital service or product on the Veracity platform. We provide an experienced and competent team who will support our customers' digital journey through all the stages of their product’s development and maintenance.

As our UI/UX Designer, you will join a global team that runs a broad range of projects, transforming existing and developing new digital services and tools across all of DNV's industries. We are looking for candidates passionate about building elegant, customer-facing solutions on any device.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and software developers.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Design graphic user interface elements.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.

About You

Technical skills & experiences:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience as UI/UX Designer.
  • Solid knowledge of wireframe tools.
  • Solid experience with design software (e.g. Figma).
  • Design experience for enterprise web and mobile applications is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript is a big plus.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology such as Scrum is a plus.

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Passion for learning new technologies.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback to improve processes and quality.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented.
  • A bachelor's or Master's degree in design, software engineering, or a related scientific or engineering subject area and a strong scientific or engineering background would be a distinct advantage, considering the application domain.
