Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with at least five years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco (CCNA), Aruba, Fortinet, Check point and Palo Alto technologies, with a strong understanding of network security, routing, switching, and firewall management. This role requires a proactive professional capable of troubleshooting complex network issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring robust security measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Management:

• Design, configure, and maintain entprise network infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto, Check point network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Perform firmware upgrades, patches, and configurations on network devices.
• Implement critical network infrastructure improvements and upgrades
• Conduct network performance monitoring and troubleshooting

Network Security & Firewall Management:

• Configure and manage Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls for threat prevention, intrusion detection, and security compliance.
• Implement IPS/IDS, SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and web filtering policies to secure enterprise networks.
• Conduct periodic security audits and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks.

Wireless & Aruba Networks:

• Deploy and manage Aruba wireless controllers and access points for enterprise environments.
• Optimize wireless performance through site surveys and spectrum analysis.
• Configure AAA, RADIUS, and NAC solutions for secure wireless access.

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

• Use network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) to proactively detect and resolve network issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network-related incidents and service requests.

Cloud & SD-WAN Support (Preferred):

• Configure and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions for hybrid cloud environments.
• Support cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs for efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS security standards for network security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Certifications:

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) – Required
• Certifications in Aruba (ACMP/ACSP), Fortinet (NSE 4+), or Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE) – Preferred

✅ Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto network devices.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching concepts (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, security policies, and VPN management.
• Familiarity with network automation (Python, Ansible) and cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
