IT Security Officer

Our client is looking for an IT Security Officer to join their CISO Office and play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience, cloud security, and regulatory compliance across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with IT architects and operational teams to ensure security is embedded in technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and challenge technology architectures, cloud solutions (Azure), and security designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance.
• Develop and enforce automated cloud security controls to meet internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and enhance security incident response, penetration testing, and vulnerability management processes.
• Define and implement secure development frameworks and technical security standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in technical security with a focus on cloud security (Azure) and risk advisory.
• Strong knowledge of CIS, NIST, Cloud Security Alliance frameworks, and security architecture reviews.
• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability management, and secure software development is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide practical security guidance to technical teams.
