  • Develop security policies and cloud security posture management strategies.
  • Configure security logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively detect and mitigate security incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards in cloud and on-premises environments.

  • Experience with SIEM solutions and security event monitoring in Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) and zero-trust security principles.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of incident response and threat intelligence in cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud or hybrid environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or similar.
  • Experience working in government or highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of multi-cloud security strategies is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong hands-on experience in Azure security (not just theoretical knowledge).
  • Can effectively configure and secure Azure services beyond basic familiarity.
  • Able to demonstrate practical implementation of security controls in cloud environments.
  • Comfortable working in complex, enterprise-scale infrastructures.
