About the role

Our R&D Department is experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for a motivated and structured Lead Cloud Architect with strong expertise in cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement scalable software applications that support our innovative safety systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality solutions—all while coordinating with remote teams to maintain alignment on our shared objectives. Your excellent communication skills will be essential as you collaborate, lead discussions, and drive our projects toward success.


Your responsibilities

As a Lead Cloud Architect you will:

  • Lead a distributed development team while defining cloud architecture and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior developers in their professional development.
  • Hands-on development across the full stack, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Ensure the highest standards of security, reliability, and scalability for cloud-based fire protection systems.
  • Optimize cloud platform performance and scalability using AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud practices.
  • Grow your skills in a supportive, learning-focused environment.


Qualifications we are looking for

As a Lead Cloud Architect, you integrate comprehensive expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies with strong architectural and leadership skills. You excel in designing scalable, end-to-end solutions, leveraging modern frameworks and robust development methodologies to deliver high-performance applications. Your proactive problem-solving and strategic collaboration skills ensure seamless integration and effective project execution, while also guiding and mentoring your development team.   • Full stack development experience.
  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud, including backend development in JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud-native services.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and team collaboration skills to drive project success.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI is a plus.
  • Experience with IoT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of database architecture and databases, with PostgreSQL skills a plus.
