Position: Senior Engineer – Rotating Equipment

Job Description

• Experience shall encompass of all design aspects of Rotating Equipment (Centrifugal compressor, Reciprocating compressor, Gas turbines, Centrifugal pumps, Reciprocating pumps, fans/blowers, IA packages etc.).
• Selected candidate will be working for Centrifugal compressor package for one of the prestigious Client in Oman. Hence previous experience on working in Centrifugal compressor package is a must and will undergo Client interview prior to recruitment.
• Experience in conceptual, FEED and detailed design is mandatory.
• Relevant knowledge, skills and fully conversant with relevant international codes and standards [API, ASME, HI standards etc.,]
• Experience in Material Requisition & equipment selection, Preparation of datasheet /Specification, Technical Bid Analysis, Vendor document review.
• Experience in actively participating in Design review, HAZOP, SIL/IPF reviews, Model reviews etc., of Rotating equipment/packages.
• Relevant knowledge of other discipline areas and interface requirements related to Mechanical Rotating engineering.
• Knowledge of BP ETPs / Shell DEPs will be preferred.
• Must have strong communications skills in English – both verbal and written.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate and communicate sound recommendations.
• 15 years’ experience related to Rotating equipment’s in engineering design company for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical Industry.
• Bachelor of engineering in mechanical or related field
