This Is Where You Join In

• Development of customized solutions: You will work directly with our customers to analyze specific requirements and develop custom software solutions based on PromasCS. You will conduct workshops and technical consultations to define the best solutions and implement them using C# and .NET technologies. You translate complex customer requirements into functional and maintainable software modules and thus make a significant contribution to the further development of our software landscape.
• Improving software quality: You take responsibility for maintaining and improving the existing code base and carry out performance optimizations and refactoring measures.
• Modernization: You will strengthen a team that uses both web and desktop technologies and support the further modernization and conversion to the latest software technologies. You will use your expertise in C# to convert existing applications to modern architectures and develop new features that work smoothly in both the desktop and web environments. You will help with the migration of legacy systems to new technologies and ensure that our customer solutions are always state of the art.
• Software testing: You will conduct code reviews and write unit and integration tests to ensure compliance with our programming and quality guidelines. Your focus is on ensuring the quality of the developed solutions to guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction. You will implement automated test solutions and help maximize test coverage to enable fast and reliable software releases.
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed technical training: You have successfully completed training as an IT specialist for application development or a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable IT qualification.
• Experience in software development: You have experience in object-oriented programming and knowledge of software development with the .NET Framework. However, we also welcome motivated newcomers.
• Independent and autonomous way of working: You like to work independently, take responsibility for your projects, are proactive and enjoy solving problems. We welcome innovative minds who want to constantly improve the status quo.
• Industry experience: Ideally, you already have experience in industrial sectors such as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals and are familiar with their standards and specific requirements. But this is not a must!
• Strong communication and teamwork skills: You are a team player and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders. You are able to explain complex technical issues clearly and comprehensibly and can take different perspectives into account.
• Language skills: Good German and English language skills are required to communicate effectively in our international environment.
  
  

A Typical Feature Development Project With Us

A customer expresses a desire for a new feature and submits a user requirement specification (URS) to the project manager. The project manager then contacts you to coordinate the implementation of the feature. For complex technical issues or special requirements, you organize a workshop together with the project manager and the customer to precisely coordinate all details and expectations.

Once the requirements are clearly defined, you create a detailed functional specification that serves as the basis for development. You will develop a customized solution that includes both front-end and back-end customizations, depending on the requirements of the project. You will work closely with the project manager and the customer to ensure that the solution fully meets the specifications.

After successful development, you will support the rollout of the new feature to the customer. This includes testing in the customer's environment, resolving potential issues and ensuring a smooth implementation. During this phase, you will act as a technical contact for the customer and support them in introducing the new feature to ensure optimal use.
