DevOps Engineer

Tasks

• Manage and enhance a Kubernetes as a Service (K8SaaS) self-service platform.
• Offer user support for the Kubernetes platform.
• Integrate the platform with other systems and services.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective coordination.
• Provide guidance and support to team members and colleagues.
• Partner with product management and sales to improve the K8SaaS offering.
• Advise customers on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

Profile

• Fluent in English; additional Swiss languages (German, French, Italian) are advantageous.
• Proficient in Linux, CLI, Containers, Kubernetes, Helm, Git and IaC tools.
• Familiar with CI/CD practices, automation and monitoring tools.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and open-source systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes tools like KubeOne, Cluster API, or GitOps platforms (e.g., Flux, ArgoCD) would be a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (OpenStack, public clouds) and IaC tools (Terraform) would be an advantage.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management tools (e.g., Keycloak, Dex) would be a plus.
• Programming/scripting skills and Agile methodology experience would be an advantage.
• Relevant certifications like CKA, CKAD, or CKS would be a plus.
