Service Design Lead – Digital Banking

We are in search of a seasoned Service Design Lead with over a decade of experience and a keen focus on digital banking to support our team in Istanbul. The ideal candidate will boast extensive expertise in digital banking operations, complemented by a robust background in service design, design thinking, and exceptional team management skills. Responsibilities:

• Capable in effectively communicating, mentoring, and managing team members, monitoring their performance, and demonstrating strong leadership abilities,
• Provide expert consultancy services to clients in the digital banking and Fintech sector, offering strategic insights and recommendations to optimize their operations and enhance customer experiences,
• Analyze and assess existing digital banking systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to increase customer experience and effectiveness,
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive digital banking strategies aligned with business objectives and industry best practices,
• Utilize design thinking methodologies to ideate and prototype new digital banking products and services, ensuring they meet user needs and deliver value to stakeholders,
• Lead workshops and training sessions for clients and team members on digital banking regulations, service design principles, user experience, digital banking, and technology trends,
• Support senior and junior consultants by facilitating on-the-job training sessions focused on digital banking trends, introducing new ideas, and conducting benchmark studies to enhance their skills and knowledge base,
• Develop end-to-end service designs, mapping out user flows and customer journeys to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience,
• Collaborate closely with UX and UI designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and user experience principles across projects,
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of digital banking initiatives,
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the digital banking landscape, continuously updating knowledge and skills to remain at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field,
• More than 10 years of experience in digital banking, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business growth.
• In-depth understanding of digital banking, including online banking, mobile apps, digital wallets, open banking, digital/neo banks, e-money and Banking as a Service(BaaS).
• Proficiency in service design and design thinking methodologies, with the ability to translate user insights into actionable strategies and solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs,
• Experience with Figma design tool is a plus.
• Residing in Istanbul with no travel restrictions, suitable for a hybrid working model combining remote and office-based work.
