Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our leading IT client in Dubai.

This role is crucial in analyzing data to generate actionable insights that support business decision-making. The position involves working closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and stakeholders to interpret data, create reports, and guide strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business performance.
• Conduct statistical analysis and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Data Visualization:

• Develop clear and compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate regular reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Document analytical processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and reproducibility.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and AI engineers, to understand data needs and provide technical support.
• Foster effective communication between data teams and other departments.

Data Quality and Management:

• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data through regular validation and cleansing.
• Develop and implement data management processes to support high-quality analytics.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance data analysis methodologies and workflows.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data analytics and visualization.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Strong background in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Python).
• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data engineering and MLOps methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices in data environments.
• Experience working in data-intensive industries such as finance, e-commerce, or large-scale consumer-focused businesses.
