Chief AI Officer (CAIO)

Key Responsibilities

• Define the Future of AI – Develop a long-term vision for AI advancements within the organization and beyond.
• Identify Emerging AI Trends – Stay ahead of breakthroughs in LLMs, AGI, multimodal AI, and AI safety.
• Shape AI Strategy – Align AI initiatives with business goals and industry trends in collaboration with leadership.
• Lead AI Innovation Efforts – Guide research and development teams in pioneering next-generation AI solutions.
• Ethical AI & Governance – Advocate for responsible AI development, focusing on bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Academia & Industry – Partner with universities, research institutions, and AI think tanks.
• Public Speaking & Thought Leadership – Represent the company at global AI conferences, policy discussions, and media interviews.
• Foster AI-Driven Disruption – Identify ways AI can transform traditional business models and create new market opportunities.
• Mentor AI Teams – Inspire and guide AI researchers, engineers, and data scientists to push the boundaries of AI technology.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI, ML, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in AI research, AI product development, or AI strategy.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and AGI research.
• Experience in AI ethics, safety, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Visionary mindset with the ability to foresee long-term AI trends.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders.
• A track record of published AI research, patents, or thought leadership.
• Experience collaborating with government agencies, policymakers, and AI ethics boards (preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with frontier AI models (GPT-4, LLaMA, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Knowledge of MLOps, cloud AI, edge AI, and quantum AI.
• Understanding of neurosymbolic AI, self-learning systems, and AGI development.
• Active participation in AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, CVPR, etc.).
• Experience in AI venture capital, startups, or incubators.
