System Engineer

Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

We are now looking for a System Engineer for one of our customers based in Oslo (candidates working from Bergen are accepted).

Responsibilities

• Developing concepts and finding optimal solutions to the customers' challenges
• Collaborate with the Client's electrical equipment factories and partners.
• Work at the intersection of sales and project execution, with extensive customer interaction.
• Work closely with the project manager, and lead project teams when required.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in concept development and power system analysis for electrification and grid integration projects.
• Relevant experience within electric power engineering or in power distribution within the industrial sector.
• Previous experience working in the oil & gas industry is a strong advantage
• Clear understanding of the needed interfaces and dependencies between electrical, automation and civil scopes in large projects
• Ability to generate ideas and continuously improve our solutions.
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting decision-making frameworks for systems and components.
• Familiarity with modelling electrical installations and experience in sales is advantageous.
• Previous experience in leading project teams is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
