DevOps Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a DevOps to join one of North American’s largest retail and wellness companies. The ideal candidate will be joining the Enterprise Platform Engineering team that is focused on the improvement and betterment of the GitLab platform. This role will require you to enable and empower people to solve problems as they are faced with them as it pertains to the GitLab platform. You will also be required to understand how the organization can reduce the Kubernetes load as well as looking at historical data and metrics to make strategic decisions regarding the future of the platform. This person will be leading/supporting a team of 8 engineers that sit in North America as well as in India.

Must Haves

• Has 8+ years of experience in a support and/or operational role relating to site reliability, DevOps or CI/CD processes
• Has an understanding and knowledge of CI/CD concepts, DevOps Processes and GitLab or has previously been a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer
• Previous experience making configurations/feature enhancements in Gitlab
• Has experience collaborating with cross functional business units
• Has good communication both written and verbal

• Has worked for enterprise level retail companies
