Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto’s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario.

What will I be doing?
- Lead, develop and implement complex, multi-disciplinary strategies and programs.
- Deliver on all aspects of project management consistent with corporate commitments to budget, schedule, quality and risk.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team comprised of employees, contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services while overseeing the day-to-day delivery of all project elements.
- Maintain key relationships and coordinate with internal stakeholders including Asset Management & Maintenance Teams, Engineering, Commercial Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Legal to maximize the program success, mitigate risk, and continuously improve outcomes.
- Completion of a degree in Engineering or Business Administration or a related discipline – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the public sector.
- Project management experience to manage multi-disciplinary projects assigned to you that have a high value and complexity.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in project management, planning, budgeting, prioritization and risk management, which preferably includes the deployment or implementation of large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects of high value and complexity.
- A proven leader who excels in building relationships, solves problems, and drives results.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and technology.
- Knowledge of passenger transportation industry and prior experience working with transit projects is considered an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
- Must have a valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s licence as this role will be required to visit various sites.
