Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES: BUILD HIGH-PERFORMING CLIENT CODE THAT IS FAST, TESTABLE, SCALABLE, AND HIGH QUALITY. DRIVE STRONG COLLABORATION WITH OTHER ENGINEERS, DESIGNERS AND MANAGERS TO UNDERSTAND USER PAIN POINTS AND ITERATE ON GREAT SOLUTIONS. CONTRIBUTE TO CODE REVIEWS AND DOCUMENTATION AND TAKE ON COMPLEX BUG FIXES. LEAD PROJECTS, FROM THE TECHNICAL DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION AND LAUNCH TO OPERATION. PROVIDE MENTORSHIP AND COLLABORATION TO OTHER ENGINEERS ON THE TEAM.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING OR A RELATED FIELD OF STUDY PLUS TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AN IT RELATED POSITION WITH JAVASCRIPT (ES6), HTML5, AND CSS, AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE WITH MODERN JAVASCRIPT FRAMEWORKS (E.G., REACT, ANGULARJS, VUE); UNDERSTANDING OF MODERN FRONTEND ECOSYSTEM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BUNDLING, LINTING, TESTING AND RELEASING INCLUDING TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WRITING CODE; WITH MODERN TESTING FRAMEWORKS (E.G., JEST, CYPRESS, MOCHA, CHAI); BUILDING FRONTEND APPLICATIONS AT SCALE USING AGILE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES AND WITH ENGINEERING SOFTWARE SYSTEMS OF MEDIUM-TO-LARGE SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW. MAY TELECOMMUTE.

OFFERED WAGE: $147,400 - $196,600 PER YEAR
