Applications Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Applications Management Specialist to lead the establishment and enhancement of IT service management processes within a newly formed division. This role is critical in defining and implementing IT governance frameworks, ITIL-based service management, and operational excellence within a dynamic and evolving technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and standardize IT service management processes, including incident management, problem management, and monitoring standards.
• Develop and maintain IT governance, ensuring compliance with ISO certifications and service assurance standards.
• Oversee change control processes, ensuring adherence to structured methodologies and best practices.
• Lead the documentation of processes and standards, ensuring a structured and efficient operational environment.
• Drive the adoption of ITIL frameworks, aligning IT operations with business needs.
• Monitor and manage application performance, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruptions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance metrics and enhance service delivery.
• Provide leadership in vendor and stakeholder management, ensuring high service quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT service management, IT operations, or a related field.
• Strong background in ITIL, service assurance, and governance frameworks.
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management within a structured IT environment.
• Proven ability to build and implement IT processes and standards from the ground up.
• Exposure to ISO certifications and compliance standards.
• Telecom industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; experience in a technology services company is highly preferred.
• A proactive leader with a change management mindset, driving teams toward process excellence.
