Senior Cybersecurity Penetration Tester (Oman-based)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Penetration Tester to join our Client's Team in Oman. In this role, you will assess security postures, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable insights to strengthen defenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform penetration testing on web apps, networks, systems, and infrastructure.
• Simulate advanced cyberattacks to test and enhance security defenses.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive mitigation.
• Collaborate with teams to improve incident response via attack simulations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct social engineering exercises (e.g., phishing) to assess employee awareness.
• Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve security.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or ethical hacking.
• Proficiency with tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
• Strong knowledge of web app vulnerabilities, network protocols, and security mechanisms.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container security.
• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and exploit development.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and using security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP)
• GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)
