We are seeking a skilled and motivated R Shiny Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and visually appealing data visualization dashboards using R Shiny. Your expertise will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and user-friendly R Shiny applications.
• Develop, design, and implement interactive dashboards and web applications using R Shiny, integrating diverse data sources, statistical models, and visualization tools.
• Customize and enhance user interfaces to ensure optimal user experience, responsiveness, and aesthetic appeal.
• Create and optimize reusable code components, modules, and templates to expedite future dashboard development.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to integrate backend services and APIs for seamless data flow into R Shiny applications.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the R Shiny applications.
• Stay current with emerging trends, best practices, and advancements in data visualization, R Shiny, and related technologies.
• Provide training and support to end-users, helping them effectively navigate and utilize the R Shiny applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in developing interactive web applications and data visualization dashboards using R Shiny.
• Proficiency in R programming and data manipulation.
• Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries (ggplot2, plotly, leaflet) and data manipulation packages (dplyr, tidyr).
• Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
