Nuage Technology Group is on the lookout for an Azure Machine Learning / Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage advanced machine learning solutions on the Azure platform, for one of our main clients in the med-tech space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable Azure-based machine learning pipelines to support advanced analytics and real-time processing.
  • Design and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouses using Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Delta Lake.
  • Implement ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Fabric Dataflows.
  • Optimize machine learning models and architectures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machine learning infrastructure, optimizing for resilience, fault tolerance, and performance.


Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Azure machine learning services, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Expertise in machine learning modeling, data architecture, and cloud-native data solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark, with experience in machine learning development and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Synapse Pipelines, and Power BI for analytics and reporting.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices, especially in regulated environments.


Technical Skills:

  • Experience with real-time data streaming (e.g., Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, including Spark, Delta Lake, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in machine learning pipeline orchestration, automation, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to continuous integration and delivery.
