Overview

Our clients are seeking a visionary Vice President of Software Engineering to lead their Solutions Group. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and innovation across client-focused software solutions. The VP will oversee 1,000 engineers in Europe, Asia, and LATAM, driving strategy, execution, and quality standards. Relocation to Brussels is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Manage and lead 1000 engineers globally, optimising productivity and fostering collaboration.
• Strategy: Develop and implement a software engineering strategy aligned with business goals, working closely with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Technical Excellence: Oversee the design of scalable, reliable solutions, focusing on microservices, SQL databases, and robust APIs using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET.
• Project Management: Lead software delivery, managing budgets, timelines, and resources for engineering initiatives.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement processes to improve scalability, collaboration, and performance across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience, with expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL, and microservices.
• Experience managing large-scale projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, DevOps principles, and in-house solution development.
• Familiarity with Azure, Agile methodologies, and multilingual skills.
• Location: Occasional travel across Europe.
• Language: English
